The John Coat in Brown Herringbone Lambswool Tweed

The John is one of the easiest of our coats. Finely executed simplicity, it is incredibly wearable and superbly comfortable.

A trapeze-shaped coat, the John is designed to fall somewhere around the mid thigh, according to taste. It has generous sleeves, a neat box pleat at the shoulders, pockets hidden quietly in the side seams and a generous swing.

The style is designed to be worn easily and open.

The John has bracelet-length sleeves and a simple round collar as standard. Using the menu, you can select full-length sleeves and or a mandarin collar, should you prefer these.

Made up in a stunning, Yorkshire lambswool tweed – officially a light tweed, but as soft as a flannel.

Linings

In Denim Blue, the coat is lined in a Pewter coloured silk and trimmed in Navy Blue satin bias.

In Chocolate Brown, the coat is lined in Hazel coloured silk and trimmed in a Marron satin bias.

In Deep Sage Green, the coat is lined in a Lichen coloured silk and trimmed in a Deep Green satin bias.

Body Type

Flattering for all shapes and sizes, the John can be lengthened or shortened. Sleeve lengths can be adapted according to taste.
