The Delany Coat in Lambswool Herringbone Tweed
 
The Delany in a wonderfully soft Lambswool tweed with a subtle herringbone pattern. The coat is available in three sublime colourways: Denim Blue, Chocolate Brown and Deep Sage Green.
 
The Delany coat has a box pleats at the shoulders, bell cuff sleeves and, can be ordered with a Nehru collar (as shown), a Mandarin collar, or no collar (as illustrated in the style diagram).
 
This is a mid to warmer-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration.
 
The Delany style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing.
 
The Delany has two slanted pockets to the front. This winter version has generously wide longer length sleeves and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
 
The Delany is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap.
 
Body Shape
 
Hugely wearable, this style is particularly flattering on the smaller-busted Column, Apple and Pear shapes. For those with curvier figures, we recommend the Brett coat which we offer in the same fabric.
 
Linings
 
In Denim Blue, the coat is lined in a Pewter coloured silk and trimmed in Navy Blue satin bias. 
 
In Chocolate Brown, the coat is lined in Hazel coloured silk and trimmed in a Marron satin bias.
 
In Deep Sage Green, the coat is lined in a Lichen coloured silk and trimmed in a Deep Green satin bias.
 
Collars
 
The Delany can be ordered with No Collar, a Mandarin Collar or a Nehru Collar.
