The Delany Coat in Cashmere-Lambswool Herringbone Flannel
 
The Delany in a superbly soft Cashmere-Lambswool mix flannel with a herringbone pattern.  Available in both a brown-black colourway and in a charcoal colourway.
 
The Delany coat has a box pleats at the shoulders, bell cuff sleeves and, can be ordered with a Nehru collar (as shown), a Mandarin collar, or no collar (as illustrated in the style diagram).
 
This is a mid-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration.
 
The Delany has two slanted pockets to the front. This winter version has generously wide longer length sleeves and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
 
The Delany is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap.
 
Body Shape
 
The Delany style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing. Hugely wearable, the style is particularly flattering on the smaller-busted Column, Apple and Pear shapes. For those with curvier figures, we recommend the Brett coat which we offer in the same fabric.
 
Collars
 
The Delany can be ordered with No Collar, a Mandarin Collar or a Nehru Collar.
 
Linings
 
The brown-black colourway is lined in a hazel coloured silk and trimmed in dark brown satin bias. 
 
The charcoal colourway is lined in a pewter silk and trimmed in an antique blue satin bias.
