The Brett Coat in Silk Matka
 
The Brett coat has a box pleats at the shoulders, bell cuff sleeves and can be ordered with or without a mandarin collar.
 
A gentle A-line body shape gives a magnficent swing. Hugely wearable, the Brett is particularly flattering on fuller-figured Column, Apple and Pear shapes.
 
The Brett has two slanted pockets to the front, generous shorter length sleeves and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
 
The Brett is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap.
 
Made in a subtle khaki silk matka, this coat wears lightly. Keeping things light, we have lined this coat in a cameo silk and trimmed it inside with an olive green satin edging. The coat is available to order in all our other silk matka colours here.

Fabric
 
Silk Matka is a wonderful linen-like pure silk fabric, extremely well-suited to summer and eveningwear. It scarcely creases, wears like a feather and is hugely versatile, dressing up smartly for weddings as well as it dresses down for the day-to-day.
