The Burlison Coat in a heavenly lambswool flannel of middling weight and fanatastic handle.
 
Style
 
The Burlison coat is designed to fall to the calf, has roomy bracelet length sleeves, subtle pleats at the shoulders and a generous swing. Two small seams accentuate a flattering waisted shape at the back, while jetted pockets sit at a subtly slanted angle at the front.
 
Generous at the bust area, this coat is specifically cut so that the better endowed don't need to leap up in size to accommodate their bosoms.​
 
The Burlison can be worn open or closed. When closed, the two front panels of the coat should be able to meet without either straining at the rear or overlapping at the front; they can be held together to keep the coat closed with any of our closures.
 
Body Type
 
The Burlison works well on all frames and is particularly well-suited to the more curvaceous and those with more generous busts.For those with a straighter shape we recommend the Bell Coat.
 
Fabric
 
A hugely wearable mid-to-warm weight tweed flannel. We picked up a small amount of this glorious fabric as deadstock – hence the amazing price. When it goes, it's gone!
 
As are all our non-silk outers, this wonderful cloth is made in the UK.
