The Delany Coat in Brown Cashmere-Lambswool Herringbone Flannel
The Delany in a superbly soft Cashmere-Lambswool mix flannel in a size 10.
The coat has box pleats at the shoulders, bell cuff full langth sleeves and a Mandarin collar.
It is made up in a deep chocolate brown flannel with a subtle black herringbone pattern – a mid-to-warmer weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration.
The Delany has two slanted pockets to the front. This winter version has generously wide longer length sleeves and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
The Delany is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap.
Body Shape
The Delany style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing. Hugely wearable, the style is particularly flattering on the smaller-busted Column, Apple and Pear shapes. For those with curvier figures, we recommend the Brett coat which we can be ordered in the same fabric.
Linings
The coat is lined in a hazel coloured silk and trimmed in dark brown satin bias.
