The Delany Coat in Denim Blue Lambswool Herringbone Tweed
 
The Delany in a wonderfully soft Lambswool tweed with a subtle herringbone pattern in size 8.
 
The coat has a box pleats at the shoulders, full length bell cuff sleeves and a Nehru collar.
 
This is a mid to warmer-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration.
 
The Delany style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing.
 
The Delany has two slanted pockets to the front and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.
 
The Delany is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap.
 
Body Shape
 
Hugely wearable, this style is particularly flattering on the smaller-busted Column, Apple and Pear shapes. For those with curvier figures, we recommend the Brett coat which we offer in the same fabric.
 
Linings
 
Lined in a Pewter coloured silk and trimmed in Navy Blue satin bias.
