The Fedden Coat in Silk Matka
 
The Fedden is one of the most shaped and tailored of our coats. It has subtle pleats at the shoulders and a structure that mirrors the traditional hourglass shape.
 
Generous full length sleeves are slitted at the wrist and have deep internal hems, allowing the wearer to fold-back the cuff elegantly. It has two hidden seam pockets and is designed to be worn low on the calf. 

When closed, the two front panels of the coat should be able to meet without either straining at the rear or overlapping at the front; the two front edges can be held together to keep the coat closed with any of our closures.

Flattering for all sizes, the Fedden is designed with the broader, athletic frame in mind.

Fabric
 
Silk Matka is a wonderful linen-like pure silk fabric, extremely well-suited to summer and eveningwear. It scarcely creases, wears like a feather and is hugely versatile, dressing up smartly for weddings as well as it dresses down for the day-to-day. Linings
 
We have suggested a lining and trim to match each colourway. You are free to chose others from our house selection. If you would like to plump for an alternative, please note this at checkout, specifying which you would prefer.
 
Shipment
 
If we are making to a standard size with bespoke adjustments, we aim to ship within 14 days. If you need yours more urgently, drop us an email and we will do our best!
