The Nicholson in Black Bouclé
 
This is a wonderful one-off in size 8 in a sumptuously shining black cotton-based bouclé that will pack and wear like a dream. As with all our bouclés, it comes from Linton Tweeds in Carlisle – original makers of Chanel's tweeds.
 
The Nicholson coat is an easy to wear column shape that falls straight down from the shoulder. It has bracelet length sleeves and gentle pleats at the shoulder. Jetted pockets sit at a subtly slanted angle at the front.
 
This coat can be worn day or night, inside or out, but is designed to be worn open, not closed. While the coat is styled to be worn on the calf, it can be cut shorter or longer to taste and works well as an everyday mid-length coat.

The Nicholson falls straight and is suited to the inverted triangle or the athletic frame – those with broader shoulders and smaller hips and busts.
