about the garnett
The Garnett is one of the easiest of our coats. Finely executed simplicity made up in the best of materials, it is incredibly wearable and superbly comfortable.
A trapeze-shaped coat, the Garnett is designed to fall somewhere around the mid thigh, according to taste. It has neatly tailored shoulders and a generous swing. Pockets are hidden quietly in the side seams.
In our summer weight fabrics, our Garnett Coats have shorter bracelet length sleeves. In warmer weight fabrics, they are made up with full length sleeves – for more details, please see our size charts.

The Garnett can be taken in or let out at the shoulders, cut to a longer or shorter length, and made with longer or shorter sleeves.

A lining and trim combination is suggested for each fabric, but you are free to choose from our house selection.

The size table below shows the measurements of the Garnett coat in both inches and centimetres. The graphic and accompanying table show the points at which the measurements have been taken. In our warmer weight fabrics we add 8cm to the sleeve length shown in the charts.
In selecting your size please remember that these are the garment measurements – your own measurements will be smaller than those shown on the chart – ie a size 8 might typically have a bust measurement of 83cm, fitting a coat with a bust of 91cm.
When selecting your size, please bear in mind what you think you might want to wear underneath your coat and remember that while we can take coats in, we cannot let them out.
