Belts & Closures

Most of our coats are offered without closures attached, allowing you to choose where and how and if you would like to close your coat. Each of us will have different preferences on this – and of course the height and positioning of each closure will depend on each wearer.

If you would like to order a closure or belt to go with your coat, please drop us a note at the time of ordering. The belts are ordered by length, and if we don't have your chosen length to hand, it can generally be made and dispatched within three weeks.

Brass Hooks & Eyes

These are intended to be sewn inside the front of the coat.
They can be ordered in -
Gold, Silver & Gunmetal Black

Leather Hooks & Eyes

These are intended to be sewn inside the front of the coat.
Subject to stocks, they can be ordered in two sizes and in -
Orange, Brown, Cream & Black

Fabric Belts

These belts are made to order. They are made in the same fabric as your coat, and cut to your chosen length. Our belts can be ordered with or without leather sliders and with or without keepers.

Leather Slider Fabric Belt

5cm wide belts, made from the same fabric as your coat.
We offer Brown and Black Nappa Leather pass-through Sliders and make each belt to each customer's chosen length. The belts can be ordered with or without sliders and fabric keepers.
We strongly advise ordering your belt at the time of ordering your coat.

Handmade Saddle Leather Belts

Together with a skilled saddler in Herefordshire we have designed a small range of leather belts which can be worn over our coats. Made from British Saddle Leather with Sold Brass Fittings.

The Double Loop

This narrow belt is designed to wrap around the waist twice. It can be worn tightly or loosely, according to taste.
Particularly suited to the Frink, Biffin & Vasey coats.
