The Delany Coat in Cashmere-Lambswool Herringbone Flannel

The Delany in a superbly soft Cashmere-Lambswool mix flannel with a herringbone pattern. 

This is a mid-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and sufficient natural hold to gently maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration.

The Style
 
The Delany style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing. It has two slanted pockets to the front and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.

Lining

We suggest a Hazel Silk, trimmed with a Dark Brown Satin Bias. If you prefer another, just jot this down in the comments box at checkout.

Collars

The Delany can be ordered with No Collar, a Mandarin Collar or a Nehru Collar.

Sleeves

Neat box pleats sit at the shoulders atop elegant and playful, bracelet-length or full-length bell cuff sleeves.
 
Closures
 
The Delany is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap. Should you wish to add them, our metal and leather closures can be sewn inside the front coat facings to hold the coat invisibly closed. If you would like to add these to our order, please drop us a note.
 
Body Shape
 
Hugely wearable, this style is particularly flattering on the smaller-busted Column, Apple and Pear shapes. For those with curvier figures, we recommend the Brett coat can be ordered in the same fabric. Do get in touch if you are interested.
