The Delany Coat in Ivory, Black, Brown and Copper Boucle

The Delany in really special limited edition Bouclé from Linton Tweeds. Easy and elegant – this coat can easily be dressed up or down.

This is a mid-weight fabric with a wonderful handle and a natural swing and hold – sufficient to maintain the A-Line body shape, the collar and the bell sleeves without exaggeration or stiffness.

The Style

The Delany style has a gentle A-line body shape with a magnificent swing. It has two slanted pockets to the front and is designed to fall to mid-low calf length.

Neat box pleats sit at the shoulders atop playful and pretty bell cuff sleeves.

Sleeves

The coat ordered with either bracelet or full length sleeves, as preferred.

Closures

The Delany is designed to be worn open. The two front panels should meet, but not overlap. Should you wish to add them, our metal and leather closures can be sewn inside the front coat facings to hold the coat invisibly closed. If you would like to add these to our order, please drop us a note.

Collars

The Delany can be ordered with a Nehru collar, a Mandarin collar, or no collar.

Body Shape

Hugely wearable, this style is particularly flattering on the smaller-busted Column, Apple and Pear shapes. For those with curvier figures, we recommend the Brett coat can be ordered in the same fabric. Do get in touch if you are interested.

Lining

We have lined ours in Stone silk with a Black Satin trim – do get in touch if you would prefer a different combination.

Shipment
